This week provide several key match-up of teams with similar records fighting for position. We’ll start at the top and work our way down.
CarJacker vs. Too Damn Lousy
This is a battle for first place, but I am betting against any changes at the top of the order. With the BYE TDL is in need of a TE and Kicker, and RB Barber while starting is banged up against a tough ATL defense. The rest of TDL team should put up decent points with QB Ryan having the opportunity for a huge day. CarJacker is once again solid throughout and QB Schaub should carve up another defense, and CarJacker will ride that horse to another victory. CJ 115 to TDL 105
My Vick in a Box vs. Spring Branch Vatos
Another key battle at the top of the standings with the winner potentially taking 2nd place. The Vatos continue to impress at 4-2 despite questionable (yet seemingly effective) management decisions. This is a tough one to call but I am predicting a huge day for Westbrook that puts My Vick in a Box over the top for the win. MVIAB 118 to SBV 105
Jacko’s Petting Zoo vs. Pure Misery
A match-up of 3-3 teams and positioning for the playoffs. Jacko is sitting pretty with nice match-ups across the board including RB Cedric Benson getting the chance to rub dirt in the noses of the depleted Bears DEF. Pure Misery’s match-ups do not favor huge points for the FFB players. I’m predicting another large point spread win for Jacko. JPZ 140 to PM 110
House of Pain vs. Tackle Me Elmo
Another match-up of 3-3 teams. If HOP can remember to fill their BYEs they may have a chance at this win especially if Brady lights up the scoreboard again. Elmo is dependent upon a good showing from Carolina continuing their running game and the Bengal offense having a strong day. Elmo also needs WR Boudin to be out so that Breaston sees a couple tosses his way. Tough call but I can’t give HOP any love after last week’s management mistakes. Elmo takes it in a close one: TME 108 to HOP 107
Juggernauts vs. Injured Reserve
Injured Reserve has struggled getting consistent performance from most of their players beyond Manning, and this week looks to be no different. Juggernauts has been carrying some major underachievers (WR Owens, RB Gore and Johnson) but has done well on the free agency pick-ups with WR Austin and Manningham. I think this is week that those moves pay off, Gore and Johnson perform, and the gutsy call to start MIA QB Henne against 6-0 New Orleans pays dividends. J112 to IR 98
Wildcats vs. Horn Supremacy
