Week 4 Wrap Up
Oh wait, that's not this week...??????????????
My Limp Vick in a Box was suppose to handle those duties. Guess the parole board had a change of heart and put Vicky back in the Big House for bad behavior.

Week 5 Wrap Up
Pure Misery handled the predictions for the week and predicted the winners in 5-of-6 games. Not too bad considering the last minute rush to beat the early games Sunday.

Now onto the wrap up...

CarJacker vs. Juggernauts
As predicted this match was never close. The Juggernauts only had Andre Johnson producing double digits with the rest of the team averaging about 5 points per position. Contrasted with the power house performance of the CarJackers which had five positions with double digits. With the consistency they have shown this season its no wonder that the CarJackers are on top of the league. Better luck next week Juggernauts.

Tackle Me Elmo vs Spring Branch Vatos
Turns out that this game wasn't as close as we had predicted, but we did pick the winner. TME's quarterback Garrad gets pulled for ineffectiveness, their running back Williams is still not matching last season's performance, and the magority of the team had sub par performances, Joseph Addai stands out as the player of the game with his 19 points. SBV had cheers of "Viva El Romo!...Viva El Romo!...Viva El Romo!" Tony Romo had a big day Sunday (in part thanks to Miles Austin having his way with the Kansas City secondary) completing 20-of-34 passes for 351 yards and two TDs, with no INTs. Romo lead a line up that surpassed predictions for SBV which had the game wrapped up before Monday Night. ¡menos mal que…! (It's a good job (that))

My Vick in a Box vs Jacko's Petting Zoo
The crystal must have been cracked on this one. My Vick in a Box rallies on Monday Night behind solid performances from Mark Sanchez and Ronnie Brown to take the win. What killed JPZ chance at a win was the Cleveland Browns inability to catch the ball...subsequently Derek Anderson put up a -0.88 in fan points. With the bench on a bye week JPZ had no other options, but its a sad day when you would have been better off leaving a position open than starting a player. There's always next week.

Team Puremisery vs Horn Supremacy
PM rode an outstanding performance from McNabb to an easy victory over Austin High School. AHS has had a rough start to the season, but there is still time to turn the season around. Take heart AHS R.C.Slocum has heard about your plite and has agreed to come out of retirement to provided your team with some real coaching. With more than half the season still left to play there is a chance to make the playoffs if the team gets past it's current loosing streak. We'll be pulling for y'all the rest of the season, GO Austin High School!..., No it's Gig'em Aggies - WHOOOP!, no no no I mean HOOK'em HORNS! (ring of cow bell) or something like that.

Wildcats vs Too Damn Lousy
Yahoo had the score close on this match up, we did too but we favored TDL over the Cats.
This one came down to a battle of the quarterbacks. TDL - Ryan completed 22-of-32 passes for a career-high 329 yards with two touchdowns and one interception and also ran for a score in Sunday's 45-10 win. Wildcats - Roethlisberger threw a season-high three touchdowns in Pittsburgh's 28-20 win. This game definitely gets the Game of the Week award. It was a cat fight but TDL takes in the end moving them to second place in the league behind CarJacker. Too Damn Bad for the Wildcats.

House of Pain vs Injured Reserves
In the battle of the quarterback brothers Peyton beats Eli, but that still wasn't enough to pull out the victory for IR. HOP needed an average performance from Ricky Williams on Monday night to come from behind and win the game walking (or in Ricky's case running) away. Peyton Manning was 36-of-44 passing for 309 yards with three touchdowns and an interception in Sunday's win over Tennessee. While Eli Manning was 8-of-10 for 173 yards and two TDs, leaving the game to David Carr with the Giants leading 28-7 in the second quarter. HOP wins this one sending IR down the leader board.

Week 5 Previews

Sorry for the late posting but I've been out of town and this slipped my mind until this morning. David should be posting the rest of the previews soon.

-MR

CarJacker vs. Juggernauts
It doesn't look good again this week for the Juggernauts. The only player in their lineup that has a favorable matchup is Andre Johnson and one player can't cary the load for the rest of the team. The CarJackers have favorable matchups at every position this week, even with most of their bench on byes this week. CarJacker wins this one easily in a blowout 120 to 95.

Tackle Me Elmo vs Spring Branch Vatos
I think this will be the game of the week, both have decent match ups with their lineups but SBV has a slight advantage.
This one s going to be close, but I'm going to call it for the Vatos 105 to 104

My Vick in a Box vs Jacko's Petting Zoo
Another close one this week, too close to call. I think the game will come down to Dallas Clark's performance against Tennessee this week. If Clark has a good game then this one should go to the JPZ otherwise MVB takes it in a nail bitter. JPZ wins 94 to 93.8.

Team Puremisery vs Horn Supremacy

With the save last week from Favre, PM looks to start the slowing healing McNabb vs the rising star Joe Flacco. This will be a good match up for QBs. The Week five bye and the Parker injury have hurt HS with his top QB and RBs on the bench. HS line up looks strong by Yahoo numbers. With their huge loss last week they are looking for a win (still). The receiving core of PM should be able to put up some big number against Detroit and Tennessee so we don’t think this will be as close as projected. PM to win big against a struggling HS. With another loss today Horn Supremacy (Inferiority) may get sanctioned by the league for false advertising.

Wildcats vs Too Damn Lousy

Can it be a close as Yahoo predicts? Most likely not… With the strong performance of Mendenhall last week it is unlikely that Detroit will be able to stop him either. Also look for Peterson to take back the spotlight from Favre. The rest of the team is closer on paper than reality, so look for TDL to take this one and break the winning streak of the Wildcats.

House of Pain vs Injured Reserves

This match up may come down to what QB shows up, but with Brady at Denver, he may still not perform well. Manning vs Ten ought to be a no brainer but IR is in Bye trouble this week with their top performers Forte, Knox and Colston on the bench. Their best starting player beside QB is the TE so look for IR to take its second loss of the season.
